Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce
Established as the Elk River Commercial Club, the Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on September 16, 1968. The Chamber is governed by a 12 member volunteer Board of Directors. Chamber membership is open to any interested individual or company. The Chamber has over 380 members representing all business classes including but not limited to: Professionals, Retail, Service, Restaurants, Real Estate, Construction, Manufacturers, Financial, Automotive, Churches and individuals. The Chamber is a non-profit organization funded by membership investments and special events.

"The Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes the value and economic development opportunities that are associated with the City of Elk River's Energy City designation. It is an integral part of the overall benefit of locating a business in the area, and one that will prove to add significant value to the local economy through the programs, activities and research of energy related products and services that come from Elk River as Energy City. These programs and activities exemplify the Chamber's motto of "Progress Is Our Business" and help to fulfill the Chamber's role of serving and enhancing the area's business community."
