Elk River Municipal Utilities
Elk River Municipal Utilities (ERMU) provides electric and water service to Elk River and surrounding areas. ERMU has a variety of energy and water conservation programs. In 2005, ERMU provided approximately 180 million kilowatt hours of electricity and 640 million gallons of water. The utility serves Elk River as parts of communities of Dayton, Big Lake and Otsego.
