The grand opening of the 16,500 square foot library will be held on Oct. 13, 2007. The library is an element of the new Elk River Civic Complex, adjacent to the Elk River City Hall and the Elk River Public Safety building. The new library embraces sustainable design features such as natural daylighting, geothermal heating and cooling and adjacent rain gardens.
