Energy House III
19365 Zumbro Ct NW
Elk River, MN

Energy House III, located in Elk River's Nordic Hills housing development, provides an example of best practices and materials to consider when building or upgrading a home.

"I think the Structured Insulated Panels (SIPs) used on the exterior walls and roof and the T-Mass integral foundation system are generating the most interest among visitors," says Sharon Kampa, SNBA Executive Director. "The geothermal heat pump has people talking, too. Our fluctuations in weather keep heating and cooling costs high nearly all year long. These products can certainly moderate or substantially reduce those costs."
